New unified grading structure (10 levels into 5), new reward criteria for salary and bonus awards and new performance and reward management process.


Global Investment Management Company

To establish the foundations for a performance culture within the Fixed Income and Structured Asset Management business.

Developed framework for defining accountabilities; clarified interdependencies; developed the management process; designed and led Management Committee Workshop and provided content for Communication Briefing and Management Guide.

Key accountabilities and the corresponding performance measures defined for 10 job families; interdependencies clarified across the global business, Management Committee Workshop delivered and management process agreed and communicated.


Investment Banking Division of a Major Dutch Bank

To develop the effectiveness of the Desk Heads on the Trading floor.

Design and development of a Personal Development and Coaching Programme involving the creation of a Personal Development Workshop, the selection of psychometrics, practical management exercises and a structured interview.

Following the identification of common development themes, a Leadership and Management Development Programme was developed and delivered in two modules. Coaching was provided for specific individual needs.

Personal Development plans delivered and leadership effectiveness improved.


Major Investment Management Company

To conduct a talent review of the members of the Information Technology Executive Committee in order to facilitate the implementation of a new business strategy.

Utilised the company’s internal competency framework to develop and conduct a 360 degree development review on-line, undertook structured interview/discussions and administered psychometric inventories. Following an analysis of outputs, delivered each Executive with a feedback and personal development plan and the Head of Information Technology with a Management Team report.

Executive Committee members gained development feedback and guidance together with a personal development plan with respect to personal growth and strategy implementation. The Head of Information Technology received Management Team Feedback report in relation to the team development needs.
